The time I left to go Pirating.
"That belongs to Jack.” said Barbossa. "I found it, besides Captain Sparrow is after immortality without a curse.” replied Will. "I meant this Jack." Said Hector as a little monkey jumped on his shoulder. "You can keep it else-ways. Ye beat me fair and square.” said the captain. Will then said,” I knocked you down. I cheated." "You fought fair by a pirate's rules.” replied Captain Barbossa.
"Why are you here? Do ye have a proposition for me?” asked William. "More of a Question to put to ye." replied Barbossa. "You're father." he paused for a moment. "You're father never wanted you to be a pirate. Until a few months ago. He asked me and Will and Jack ye." Will was shocked. "I'll come." he said firmly. "Great! We leave at nightfall." Will was ready. He had his three cornered hat, sword, knives, and his gun with enough spare shot to last him a month. The rode out in a small rowboat to the Black Pearl. There Will learned swordsmanship (the pirate way), how to fire and load all types of cannons and guns, how to board a ship, sail a ship, and pilage and/or plunder towns.
That training helped him to become what he is today.

Our First Pirate Adventure.
This is what results of boredom when you're chatboarding with someone (or at least when you chat with me). This is what Will and I came up with in our virtual world (on xanga, which had a chatboard, which may I point out is non-existant here!) :We thought a bit about what to do. We were bored, but of course, when one has talked of nothing but pirates, ninjas, and operas (oh my) for the last few days, adventure is prone to be born. Charity would have been with us had she not left so promptly and refused to come back.
"Hey!" I said, "Let's sneak aboard a pirate ship!"
He hastily agreed, for the boredom was getting to the point where I was singing opera (not that opera's a bad thing ~ it's not, but when I sing it...then it tends to have a negative effect). So I thought about the Flying Dutchman and said that it would be the coolest ship to sneak aboard on. And thus is how we did it. We sat in wait. Or, rather, we each sat in seperate, empty, rum barrels. The easiest way in the world to get yourself onto a pirate ship: Disguise yourself as rum. They'll take you without a second thought. So we waited untill we felt our barrels being lifted up and carried somewhere else. Again we had to wait. Knowing pirates, they would probably put us either below the deck or somewhere by the "kitchen". We waited untill we could slowly feel the barrels rocking, and then I glanced through a small slit in the barrel's wood to find we were in a large wooden room with little light and a low ceiling. I could not see anyone, so I eventually managed to clamber out of the old rum barrel. I checked that my cutlass still hung by my waist and my daggers in my belt. I don't want or need a pistol. I glanced around the dank room and discovered that we were not the only rum barrels there. I suddenly realized we were in the place where they kept all the rum (a place similar to a cellar). To me it looked like all the barrels were the same. I knocked on the nearest one.
"Will?" I whispered. I continued to barrel-whisper untill I found the right one, pushed it over, and he came rolling out. "Oops. Sorry." I said softly. He said nothing, only looked around the room, checking his cutlass as I had done. He had two pistols and no daggers, so I suppose you may say he was more "technical" than I was.
"Cool," he said.
"No," I replied, "Awesome!"
After glancing around a bit more, he blinked and asked, "Now what?"
"Oops," I replied, " I kind of...hadn't thought of what we going to do yet..." I felt my face get hot. Suddenly, the ship shook and we stumbled forward. We whipped out our cutlasses and carefully crept around the lower decks. Staying to the shadows and crouching low to the ground, we silently crept onto the upper deck of the Flying Dutchmen, having seen no other pirates. But we found the ship deserted, and a large group of pirates running on the sand beds of the island we had landed on, swords raised and yelling at the top of their lungs. I could hardly keep from screaming (with joy) myself."Yes, yes, yes! This is the island where they fight over the key to Davy Jones' heart and Jack runs on the giant wheel (the best part of the movie)," I said eagerly to the not-so-excited Will. We managed to get down the side of the ship (it's not as easy as it looks, anchor sliding) and onto the beach where I danced around in uncontrollable joy, swinging my cutlass at the bewilderment (and slight concern) of Will. I would have run with all the energy I had (which was much) straight into the lush jungle where the pirates had gone if he had not stopped me and said to cut directly through the jungle, where we could hide and they would not see us. We ran to the leafy foliage lining the beach and walked into the jungle that Jack was somewhere inside. The air was thick and hot (not unlike Houston) and we soon grew tired of walking past the green trees and broad-leafed ferns. After a while it seemed that we had been all over the island.
Suddenly I stopped."Do you know where we're going?" I asked him. He blinked and his face changed to one of slight confusion and minor fear, with a trace of embarassment.
"I thought you knew," he replied. Just then the ground began to rumble and the trees to shake, and as one, we turned toward the direction it was coming from. We could see nothing. We kept our gaze on the distant trees. And then we saw it. I began smiling and dancing again, for the giant wheel was comming straight towards us! I could see the fighting figures of Will and Norrington on the top, and poor Jack was hanging upside-down, reaching for the key. We watched, breathless, swords drawn as they whirled past. The ground shook as they they passed, inches from us, but they didn't notice us. I stuck out my hand and touched the rough wood of the water wheel. Of course it stung and I got spinters that I had to ignore and wrap a piece of cloth around, but it was so awesome!!!!!!!!
"Doughnut!" Will called me, a bit annoyed at how I had gotten caught up in the moment. I grinned.
"That's what I am!" I replied. I looked at my hand again. Why didn't they notice us? I thought. We determined that we should go the way they had come from and soon found Elizabeth, Pintel, and Ragetti with the chest of Davy Jones between the pirates. Elizabeth reached for her sword--only to discover she had none! She glanced around, and then she saw us. She made a face and Pintel and Ragetti turned to look at us. I threw my sword to Elizabeth, who pointed it at them, and Will did likewise with his. Having no cutlass, I began to sing VERY, VERY high, and the pirates dropped the chest and covered their ears. The Phantom of the Opera is educational in the defeat of pirates! I don't really remember what happened next. I seem to recall loud shouting and screams, but all I knew was the world was growing darker. Darker...Will told me later that I had been hit by a charging line of pirates, who all wanted their chest back. They were the crew we had seen on the beach ~ they were the crew of The Flying Dutchman! The next thing I remember is sky. Clear, blue sky. No clouds. No birds. Blue sky. I was lying on my back. Then I heard shouts and yells.
One voice stood out in particular, and that was: "I want my jar of dirt!" I sat up quickly and found that I was inside a rowboat next to another rowboat, next to the fallen wheel and the Black Pearl. I leapt up, excited at the battle before me, and reached for my cutlass. ARG! Where was Elizabeth? I want my sword back, I thought! I stormed across the beach, ignoring the fight going on around me and tapped her on the shoulder. She whipped her head around, eyes blazing, and glared at me. We had an argument, during which we both continued to fight (I used my daggers, but it's not the same), and I eventually won the argument. She gave me my sword back in return for my two daggers. Don't worry. She got another cutlass from a dead pirate somewhere on the beach. I immediately jumped into the battle, and soon found myself fighting next to Will.
"Have a nice nap?" he asked. I got a bit mad. My strikes became more energized.
"Why didn't you wake me up? What happened? I can't believe that here, during the coolest boredom day ever, you let me sleep! ARG!" We fought on for a bit, and before we knew it, we found ourselves being welcomed aboard the Black Pearl. There we observed the part of the movie that I hope y'all have seen. You know, when he drops his jar of dirt, discovers the heart is not there, and then you see the clip where you discover who REALLY has the heart of Davy Jones. Will and I had to sneak back down below deck because we knew, somehow, that we would soon be going home.
"Do you think we have to do something?" he asked uncertainly.
"I don't know. The movie is over. Maybe it will just take us back immediately..." I began. I paused. Looking down at my bandaged hand, I thought hard about our adventure. I opened my mouth, but before I could say anything, I felt wind suddenly pulling me, and before I could say "Yoho", I was sitting back on the playroom couch, in my house, in front of my laptop (Nema is her name-o), with the chatboard page open on xanga. I blinked, processing what had happened.
Will posted: "Wow."
"Yeah. Wow," I replied. And so ends our virtual adventure. I'm sorry, Charity, that you couldn't come. It would have been so much cooler if you were there. But guess what. Frodo and Sam need a bit of help getting rid of some un-refundable jewelry. (It turns out Dark power rings are so last season!) Come with us? Thanks for reading! Tennis shoes! Pirates (spelled with a Y).
